The first step is a conversation. We’ll talk about your ideal style and theme – whether you’d like something modern and bold, fun and colourful, or classic and timeless. This helps us understand what best represents your school so we can create a yearbook that feels authentic and on brand.
PLAN YOUR PAGE LAYOUT AND CONTENTS
Next, we’ll map out your page layouts and structure. Together, we’ll decide how many pages you’ll need and what should be included – student portraits, staff profiles, class pages, events, sports, artwork, farewell messages, and more. By setting up the framework early, we ensure your yearbook flows smoothly from start to finish.
SEND US YOUR TEXT AND IMAGES
Now it’s your turn! Simply provide us with your photos, articles, captions, and other content. Don’t worry if your images aren’t perfectly organised – our design team will guide you and make sure everything looks its best. Sending everything in one go helps us keep the process efficient.
REVIEW YOUR INITIAL ARTWORK PROOF
Once we’ve got your content, our designers put together an initial proof – a draft version that gives you a feel for the design direction. This early preview allows you to check if we’re on the right track before we move forward with the full layout.
GIVE FEEDBACK & ADJUSTMENTS
This is your chance to refine things. Want to tweak colours, adjust layouts, or add more photos? We’ll take your notes and then begin populating the entire yearbook. Your feedback ensures the finished product matches your expectations perfectly.
APPROVE THE FINAL PROOF
When the yearbook is nearly complete, we’ll send you a final artwork proof. This is your last opportunity to check spelling, photo placement, page order, and design details. Once you’re happy and give us the green light, we’re ready to print.
PRINTING & DELIVERY
With your approval locked in, we’ll hit the print button! Your yearbooks will be produced using high-quality printing and binding, ensuring they last for years to come. When they arrive at your school, the only thing left to do is hand them out and enjoy seeing your students’ faces light up as they flip through their memories.
SERVICES NOT INCLUDED
While our design service covers the essentials, there are some tasks that take additional time and therefore aren’t included in your original quote. They are, however, available upon request. If we notice something that could improve your yearbook, we’ll flag it with you straight away.
Rest assured, we’ll always consult and advise you about any extra cost (which depends on the workload) before making changes. Sometimes exceptions can be made, so don’t hesitate to ask if you’re unsure.
Here are the extras:
PROOFREADING: Checking spelling, grammar, and written content.
PHOTO EDITING: Adjusting brightness, colour correction, or improving photo quality.
PHOTOSHOPPING: Adding or removing someone from a photo.
TYPING TEXT: Entering details such as student names for portraits or group photos.
SHUFFLING SINGLE PAGES: Moving a page from left to right (or vice versa) affects the entire flow of the book and is very time-consuming. This is why we can shuffle spreads but strongly recommend sticking to your original page plan to avoid issues.
